Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has indirectly revealed a transfer news to the Arsenal fans.

The Gunners boss failed to rule out a move for the Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema. The French striker has been on Arsenal’s radar for a long time now and reports have now emerged of the Spanish giants offering him to Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.

Benzema has not really been a fan favourite this season with the Bernabeu faithful targeting him with boos after his unimpressive performances. President Florentino Perez is keen to get rid of the former Lyon star.

Wenger joked in his conference that Benzema is only linked with Arsenal because he is French.

Wenger said: “Because he’s French, there are some noises he would leave Madrid.
“In the summer window? That’s not my worry at the moment. What’s my worry is the next game against Watford.”

Wenger also revealed that his team will not be doing any business on the Transfer Deadline day.

Wenger added: “Very quiet. On our front we have a big squad. We are not in the need to buy.

“On the general front it is very quiet. All the teams in England, especially the big teams, have big teams.”
