Real Madrid hierarchy are unconvinced with Rafael Benitez and are already to planning to sack him at the end of the season.

According to The Sun, the Spanish giants are interested in reuniting with former boss Jose Mourinho.

The Chelsea boss has endured tough times at the Stamford Bridge this season with his team closer to the relegation zone than the summit of the Premier League.

The Real Madrid president has a strong relationship with Mourinho. Even though his time in the Spanish capital was marred by fall-outs with the senior players, Florentino Perez holds him in high regard.
