Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will line up a double raid on his former club Borussia Dortmund in January.

According to the Daily Star, Klopp knows two of his former players the best and wants them in his new team. £31.5million-rated winger Marco Reus and centre-back Mats Hummels, valued at £24.5m.

The owners are set to back the German boss financially to support his revolution at Anfield.

Reports of an agreement between Klopp and Borussia Dortmund preventing him to sign any of their players were deemed false by the manager.

He said:

“I have no agreement with Dortmund.

“I heard that too, that there was one – these sorts of things are always written at the time but, no, it’s absolutely not true.”
