According to reports, Chelsea legend Didier Drogba is desperate to return to the Premier League.

The Ivorian striker has rejected a move to Brazilian club Corinthians in order to secure a move back to the Premier League. He played over 250 League games for the Blues and won 4 Premier League titles with them.

He met with Corinthian’s president to explain his intentions. He said: ‘I explained to him that whilst I am very honoured at their interest in me joining the club, it does not feel like the right move for me at this time.

‘I would like to thank the club and all the Corinthians fans for the messages and wish you all every success for the new season.’

Brazilian source Globo has reported that Drogba in only focused on getting back to Stamford Bridge, the place he calls his home. The legendary striker is expected to return to his former club in a coaching capacity.

He recently returned to the Chelsea training ground and met his former teammates.
