Real Madrid won their final Champions League group stage match against Malmo 8-0.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored four for the Spanish giants. He becomes the first player in the history of the competition to score 11 goals in the group stages.

After the match, the Ballon d’Or nominee was interviewed by Spanish TV.

Some of the best quotes from his interview are:

I am very happy for the team win and for another record.

I spoke to Benzema before the match & said you have to score 1 goal and 1 assist. But he didn’t listen. He got a hat-trick!

The critics? It’s normal. With a club like this, when things don’t go well, the people criticise.

We now have 5 consecutive victories and we are getting better.

I am happy with the season I am having. People expect more.

Rafa Benitez is doing a great job. We have to give him time to adapt.

I had some problems at the beginning of the season, but I am better now.

I am not obsessed with the Ballon d’Or.

Leaving Real Madrid? It’s all speculatios. Every year it’s the same thing. I feel good and I’m happy at Real Madrid.

Chelsea or Porto tomorrow? It’s not Mourinho vs. Casillas. Whoever wins is the better team.
